My main musical project has been put to sleep for 2 years, as i've been involved into several other projects (mostly concerning the music label "LibreCommeLair").

I'll soon be back on the knobs for several collaborations first, and then for new original compositions !

Feedback from Telerama Dub Festival 2010 (video)

A great event with smooth people in a friendly mood, that's what I got from the Telerama Dub Festival last week-end !

Big up to the people in the place that really got into my liveset, we had an sort of communion I enjoyed a lot.
I got this nice video from Mr34Dubwise on youtube if you want to get a peep :



The track I play is one from my upcoming album to be out spring 2011 so it's a surprise preview ! It's featuring : Benjamin Leska (Denmark) on the Organ, Tribuman (France) on the trumpet, and Control Tower (France) on the trombone.

We should make a medley-teaser of this live set to introduce the album, so stay tuned on the usual channels ;)

Some nice Volfoniq remix(ed) in LCL composition contest !

Hey everybody,

Some time ago, I put several of my track sources on LibreCommeLair (LCL, my "home" label) free sound bank (check here : http://www.lclweb.org/free_soundbank.htm )

There are already some nice reworks that come from various countries, so I'd like to share them with you....


- The latest was from Tony Dubshot, a dub producer from the Lowlands, based on my Drumsong version :

3 tracks free and legal download by Volfoniq, with the collaboration of Tribuman, Pier & KouChouChing.

This EP is born from the collaboration Volfoniq had with the taiwanese
hiphop band 'KouChouChing', for which Volfoniq made a remix out on
their double LP 'Kou... it's coming out !' out in TaÏwan in 2007 (Track
#3 is a new version of this remix).

Based on this riddim, two new collaborations followed with french singers
'Tribuman' and Pier', creating a ragga-dub and a poetic-slam that
transpose the 'Taïwan riddim' into other universes...

Ce maxis est né de la collaboration de Volfoniq et du groupe de hiphop taiwanais 'KouChouChing', pour lequel Volfoniq a réalisé un remix sorti sur leur double album "Kou... it's coming out!" à Taïwan en 2007 (Le titre n°3 est une nouvelle version de ce remix).
